Meet our Senior Pastor, John H. Saylor. John H. Saylor serves at Redemption Church OEC as the Senior Pastor. John participates occasionally with the Worship Team as a singer and or musician. Pastor Saylor founded Redemption Church OEC in June 2019 at our first location in Eau Claire MI. After many months of praying, John was able to close the deal on our second location in Bangor MI in November 2021. Before starting Redemption Church OEC, Pastor John had 15 years of prior ministry experience. John has been married to his wife, Lisa, since July 1996 and together have three children Riley (Sean), Bryce (Myia), and Erick. All three of their children and their spouses are active in the ministry as Head Pastor, Associate Pastors, Youth Pastors, and members of the Worship Team. Pastor John states, “my main goal in the ministry is to start multiple churches that welcome every race, every age, and most importantly every person and lead them all to a relationship with Jesus Christ!”
Meet the Associate Pastor, Riley Mahaney. Riley Mahaney serves as an Associate Pastor of Redemption Church OEC and as Worship Leader at Redemption's Eau Claire Campus. Riley has been active in ministry since 2021 and as a Worship Leader since 2019 but has participated and served in the church for as long as she can remember. Riley has been married to her wonderful husband, Sean since December 2020 and together they have two dogs, Nismo and Nova. Sean and Riley also serve as the Youth Pastors of Redemption Church. Riley is the oldest child of Senior Pastor John Saylor and First Lady Lisa Saylor. Riley’s goals in ministry are to lead as many souls to Christ through her songs and sermons, and to help younger children be confident in themselves while growing a strong relationship with God.
Meet the Associate Pastor Mark Shulaw. Mark Shulaw serves as an Associate Pastor, a member of the Redemption Worship Band where he plays guitar and is a co-host of the Ready To Preach podcast. He has been active in the ministry since 2021 at Redemption Church while also having served as an Assistant Youth Pastor and musician at his previous church. He is currently teaching the adult Sunday School class in Eau Claire. Mark’s biggest goal in the ministry is to promote the truth of the Bible and the Gospel to help someone find their way to Jesus. Meet the Associate Pastor, Erick Saylor. Erick "Gibby" Saylor serves at Redemption Church OEC as an Associate Pastor as well as a member of the Worship Band playing the piano. Erick has been active in ministry since 2022 but has roots in the church dating back to early childhood. Erick is the youngest son of Senior Pastor John Saylor and First Lady Lisa Saylor, and has had the privilege of sitting in, and participating in services from a very young age. Erick states that moving forward in ministry his #1 goal is simply to bring people to a knowledge of Jesus and help them in growing their relationship with our Savior.
